Right after having a decent and very much enjoyable Kulinarya Festival at Bayview Park Hotel along Roxas boulevard, my blogger friends and I attended this much-awaited YAHOO! OMG awards 2012 at the just constructed Mall of Asia ARENA. I was so excited to have finally entered such a great masterpiece that is so attractive from the outside. Mose of the major concerts will soon take place in this mighty building. A great scene from afar and even inside. Though I was advised to join my new-found co-bloggers I instantly felt the rousing positive outcome of such a prestigious awarding ceremony for our local celebrities that we idolize nowadays.
We waited for 5PM to finally vacate the donut and coffee shop we have killed our time at and leave to enter for the first time this widely appreciated arena. Since it was my first time I busied myself taking photos here and there.
I was wondering why the eye-shaped structure? I am sure it has meaning. The Arena was huge and astonishing.
The unique purple carpet and backdrpp or YAHOO! OMG! awards 2012. We were too early to watch the artists from Kapuso and Kapamilya stations in their stunning clothes to pass by walking on a purple carpet and smile on us.
The entrance for the lower box seats. The crowd were all smiles and the system from the entrance all the way to the other entrance points were monitored and organized well. Good job security guards.
The sweep panorama inside MOA Arena. Oh this is really fantastic. We were there around 6PM and we waited for like an hour before the awarding ceremony officially started. The four of us were like super duper starving and thirsty. 
The banquet below us wherein we saw local celebrities and some VIPs slowly gathering and growing in numbers. The long MAGNUM table caught my attention and asked myself who are the people prioritized to seat on that majestic part of the venue. Secretly wishing as well that they will give away Magnum ice cream.

Yahoo! OMG! awards 2012 was hosted by Kapuso celebrities Isabelle Daza, Raymond Gutierrez and Solenn Heussaff. They informed the spectators that the awe-inspiring Yahoo! OMG! Awards garnered a total of over four million votes. Whoa! That was big.
Without further ado, here are the complete list of winners in this year's Yahoo! OMG! Awards held last July 6. Special thanks to my baby bridge camera for being so reliable in times like this; moments where along with my friends we were seated at the quite far yet high end of the arena. Good thing we had a nice spot there of the center stage. I clumsily zoomed in and out just to catch decent photos of the esteemed winners. In order, here they are. . .

Male Singer of the Year: Christian Bautista
Female Singer of the Year: Sarah Geronimo (received by Shamcey Supsup)
Male Radio DJ: Papa Jack
Female Radio DJ: Nicole Hyala

Breakthrough Actor of the Year: Xian Lim
Breakthrough Actress of the Year: Kim Chiu
Just before the second set of awarding ceremony begins, this band performed a rock song for all of us.
Band of the Year: Parokya ni Edgar
Another powerfully charming production number by Solenn Heussaff. Really alluring and very talented lady. No regrets she was awarded as the Female Newcomer of the Year.
Comedienne of the Year: Eugene Domingo (received by I forgot the name of this woman..)
Male TV Host: Luis Manzano
Female TV Host: Bianca Gonzales
Both were not around to personally accept their respective awards :(
Most Promising Actress: Kathryn Bernardo
Fan Club of the Year: KimXi (Kim Chiu-Xian Lim fan club)
Actress of the Year: Angel Locsin
It Couple of the Year: Angel Locsin and Phil Younghusband
Actor of the Year: Coco Martin
Most Promising Actor: Enrique Gil
Love Team of the Year: Kim Chiu and Xian Lim
We did not finish the awarding so as not to experience stampede on our way out the reason why we never catch what happened after these two most-sought after couple was awarded. But we learned that Vilma Santos, the current Batangas governor got the Major Impact Award. Unofficially Yours was the Movie of the Year. And guess who bagged the Celebrity of the Year Award? Who else but Anne Curtis! The popular celebrity just sent a video message grateful for her supporters and avid follower who voted for her. She was in Portugal that time.
I enjoyed the star studded event with beautiful people most of us idolize. It was noticeable that most who bagged the awards were Kapamilya stars.
