The song was written by Andrew Fromm, the very same sing writer of The Backstreet Boys, Nsync and K-ci & Jojo. Moreover, Runaway is also the first local recording to be mastered for iTunes for the Philippines by Warner Music Philippines and Asia Pacific. This goes to show that the recording is digitally optimized for increased audio quality in digital format. It was so inspiring to have met this young lady in the flesh and knowing that she'll never allow difficulties to get in the way of her dreams, just like the gist of her first single.
