Tropicana launches its newest and coolest beverage craze in town last September 27 at One Esplanade, Pasay City. This beverage is said to be a must-have drink for health and lifestyle enthusiasts of all ages and it is popularly known as Coco Quench. The influx of this product is so timely as what I've read, heard and learned form recent international news, coconut water is so much in demand abroad particularly among Hollywood celebrities. I believe you have encountered about this scoop as well as this growing new market is easily embraced by many even if it is locally and perennially available in our country.
Our family is regularly consuming fresh coconut water with meat and that is every Saturday and Sunday to be very specific. We actually expect buko vendor to deliver three or more servings in our home placed in a sturdy translucent plastic bag each serving portion, which is PhP25 per buko.
And do you guys know what is so cool and hip about this latest Tropicana invention? Tropicana Coco Quench is 100% fresh and made from real coconut water (without the coconut meat). Coconut water is believed to have 4 times higher potassium content than bananas and also a rich source of iron, calcium and magnesium. Moreover, it is known for containing electrolytes similar to the human plasma, making it naturally hydrating with less sugar and calories. And regular drinking can significantly help reduce food cravings and flush out toxins to boost health and aid in weight loss. Some even believed that this wonderful juice from nature serves as a cure for stones and urinary tract infection.
Tropicana Coco Quench is the first locally-produced drink with an 8-month shelf life. That made this product a little more awesome. It assumes an octagon-shaped packaging for easier grip which comes in two sizes: 330 ml with a pull-tab mechanism to conveniently drink the coconut water straight from the pack and with the SRP of PhP30; while the 1 liter is with SRP of PhP80. I actually saw this juice on sale in Rustan's Supermarket the other night while doing my grocery shopping. Moreover, just like some juices around us it uses an advanced technology of Tetra Pak packaging in order to stay fresh as the real fruit without the need for preservatives and added flavours.

And oh yeah, it was Borgy Manotoc who hosted the event for Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. newest addition to their strong portfolio of exciting beverage. Other brands under PCPPI include Pepsi-Cola, Mountain Dew, 7-Up, Mirinda, Mug, Gatorade, Tropicana, Lipton, Sting, and Premier. Super model Charo Ronquillo was also present and suitably chosen as the brand ambassador for Tropicana Coco Quench, hence there were models who ramped on stage revealing their fit and sexy body as each holds a liter pack of coco juice.
