I really cannot tell exactly when did my two friends and I went here for a brief and good time snack, but for sure it was just last quarter of 2012. We stumbled upon this Cheese Steak Shop on our way home, which is very popular for its original Philadelphia Style Sandwich. Though we are full we still managed to order some delightful snack for the purpose of just checking out the place and experiencing how good the serving size, menu and taste are. I never dined here before nor did I ever tried their food truck that I usually encounter in Greenhills area. As per my dear friend, the shop was originally situated at the E-Hotel Makati near Milky Way Restaurant (where we had brunch) before it moved to its current location.
Menu board. Obviously, there's a lot to choose from!
Since this is a self-service type of food establishment, one must go help himself with the cutleries and condiments. These mustard and ketchup dispensers caught my attention as they are like just not so ordinary-looking though we regularly use Heinz products at home. The place was a bit spacious though one would expect that there is a second floor to accommodate more guests.
While one of us is busy ordering, I was at the other side of the dining area deciphering on what board game to kill our time with. We all ended up playing the classic and my favorite Scrabble. You pick one here and let the game begin :)
This made my day. It has been ages since I last had my nacho loaded with so much meat and peppers. All I can remember is that this was bursting with so much flavor...something so hot and irresistibly good.
I wish I could have ordered for a Float rather than just a plain can of soda :( Too bad my friend disagreed with me about refunding the transaction.
A platter of nachos for a party-like vibe. Served with salsa dip and cheese sauce.
Since we do not intend of overeating at this undeniably tempting shop, we agreed on just ordering something light yet delightful and indulging meals. Therefore, I cannot share with you now those world-famous Philly sandwiches yet, alright? I'll certainly make time for that. Hence, these large buckets of Garlic Fries and Steak Fries served as our companion while we comically play inside a cheese steak shop that sunny afternoon. It only cost us PhP150 per serving inclusive of a Coke in can. I should say that they are great-tasting kind of fries. Cheese Poppers and Buffalo Wings are good choices too but we were just not so in to it during that time. Those
