Papa John's Pizza is now officially serving its newest promo called the CHAMPIONSHIP MEAL which is good for 5 and 12 persons. A few days back together with some OpenRicers and food bloggers we experienced what it is like to be a PBA star and eater even just for an hour or two. The said group meal is exclusive for Papa John's making them "The Official Pizza of the PBA".
PBA Meal for 12 which is worth PhP2499 (save as much as PhP926) consists of the following: (3) 12" Pizzas (any flavor), 12 pieces Chicken Wings, 4 orders of Pasta (choice of Diablo Burst, Carbonara or Bolognaise), and 12 Regular Sodas. Should you want to avail of the limited edition PBA T-Shirt, an additional of PhP150 is needed.
On the other hand, should you have a group that only made up of 5 members, there is also a PBA meal that suits you. The name of the promo is MYTHICAL 5 PBA Meal which is worth PhP999. Pepperoni is considered as one of Papa John's Signature Pizzas that is definitely a must-try! I believe this one is so apt for a kind of heavy meal that should be included in the diet program of the basketball players. Hefty with all the protein, fats and most especially carbohydrates that'll surely help and keep them in their basketball strategies. As you can see this pizza has generous servings of pepperoni slices and mozzarella cheese.
Are you the type who simply throw away pizza crust or you mind eating them? I surmise after dining here at Papa John's you'll learn to save that pizza crust that you used to throw into food scraps. This one has the combination of flavorful pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, freshly-sliced mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and black olives. Loaded with all the goodness that you can totally have in just a slice of this pizza variant.
Chicken Bacon Ranch
Among the three pizzas we have tasted and tested, for me this one has the strongest flavor and aroma. Made with grilled chicken, bacon bits, fresh garlic and tomatoes, with lotsa ranch sauce. I suddenly remember the fresh garden salad with ranch dressing I made last holiday season.
Now, do you want to experience BETTER Ingredients. BETTER Pizza? You still got plenty of time to discover it yourself with the whole barkada as this promo is still ongoing until March 15, 2013 and valid for dine in, take out and delivery but still subject to service or delivery charges.
For desserts, we had the following but remember that they are not included in the set meal packages. Let's just say we just needed something sweet to conclude our our powerful and heavy meal.
Choco Magma Ala Mode
Make sure this is served to you hot so as to experience the chocolate magma bursting when you poke it with your fork. Truly mouth-watering! always best with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
Carrot Cake
This is the only cake that can be found on their menu. It is an old-fashioned carrot cake that most of us love topped with smooth but nit that creamy cream cheese. Good enough to tickle your taste buds.
If ever you want a CHAMPION MEAL that is worth challenging to finish, you certainly must give this package a try. Worth-it. Healthy. Yummy.
