Couleurs La Femme: A Night of Color and Creative Expression

Couleurs La Femme and its healthcare partners and media came together last July 10 Tuesday, to celebrate its product line that offers Filipino women choices for the lives they desire. Couleurs La Femme is distributed by Cynosure, an all-Filipino pharmaceutical company that focuses on women’s health and wellness. It is a line of oral contraceptive pills that is specially formulated to help women achieve beauty, balance, vitality, and freedom. The reason why after registration and as soon as I entered the chic and contemporary venue at One Esplanade, four different lifestyle hubs greeted me. It was so appealing and vibrant that tells about being a woman of positivity.

My SerendipiTea Experience

They say tea is the next coffee. Do you agree? I think I have to agree given the vast number of tea shops in and out of Metro Manila. Too many to name them one by one, but you know what very few tea shops could credibly announce and proudly say that they are using only authentic and high-quality ingredients sourced from one of the tea capitals  of the world - Taiwan. The two sisters who manage this tea shop called as My SerendipiTea situated at the ground floor of the newest and posh hotel in Quezon City, Cocoon Boutique Hotel, shared us that they only sourced their raw mats from Taiwan for a more authentic feel. It's not clear to me now where exactly in Taiwan. Maybe in the city of Taichung which is a very popular place and known to be the tea capital of the country. Just a brief  background, tea originally came from Taiwan and became well-known in the year 1980s until it also became pasrt of the diet of the poeple across Asia including the Philippines. Many believed that tea is a healthy alternative to coffee even the owner of My SerendipiTea Ms. Iris T. Salamat, believes so and she considers tea not a fad. Perhaps because this beverage has been with us for a long time already.

What is tea shop without these tea pots or tea sets, right?

PAPA JOHN'S Better Ingredients. Better Pizza.

Papa John's Pizza founder is John Schnatter who worked at a local pizza hub in Jeffersonville, Indiane when he was in his high school student years. His dream was to one day open a pizza restaurnat that would create a superior-quality traditional pizza delivered right to the customer's door. Hence, Papa John's opened his first restaurant in 1984 and now recognized as the world leader in pizza with more than 3,500 restaurants in 32 countries. This should alarm the major pizza restaurant chain in the Philippines, you think so? In China alone, Papa John's has built over 100 restaurants but so far in the our country it has 13 branches, namely: Waltermart Sucat, Greenbelt 3, SM North EDSA, BF HOmes Paranaque, Jupiter St. Makati (where we had our Eat's A Date courtesy of OpenRice Philippines), Arnaiz Avenue still in Makati, SM Fairview, Tomas Morato, Brick Road in Sta Lucia, Greenhills, Robinson's Galleria Veranda, SM Megamall, and University Mall Taft Avenue.

It was actually my first time at this branch in Makati and in order not to be late, I took a cab from San Juan and make sure it short cut in Mandaluyong-Makati bridge to save time and energy. The event happened last Friday which means heavy traffic and impossible for me to be at the venue on time with just 45 minutes travel time. Place is conducive, cozy and clean. Those 3 C's that most people first notice on a restaurant particularly those that is new to them. The photo above I surmise are the countries in which Papa John's made a mark. In United of States, this pizza chain is present in all 50 states. Imagine! Given those data, this brand must be really committed to delivering on its promise of "Better Ingredients. Better Pizza."

Right after having a decent and very much enjoyable Kulinarya Festival at Bayview Park Hotel along Roxas boulevard, my blogger friends and I attended this much-awaited YAHOO! OMG awards 2012 at the just constructed Mall of Asia ARENA. I was so excited to have finally entered such a great masterpiece that is so attractive from the outside. Mose of the major concerts will soon take place in this mighty building. A great scene from afar and even inside. Though I was advised to join my new-found co-bloggers I instantly felt the rousing positive outcome of such a prestigious awarding ceremony for our local celebrities that we idolize nowadays.

We waited for 5PM to finally vacate the donut and coffee shop we have killed our time at and leave to enter for the first time this widely appreciated arena. Since it was my first time I busied myself taking photos here and there.

I was wondering why the eye-shaped structure? I am sure it has meaning. The Arena was huge and astonishing.
