Experience the Difference at OAT SQUARE in Tomas Morato, Quezon City

Oat Square in Tomas Morato, Quezon City
Good day fellas! I would like to start my food review with a simple yet quite challenging question. Are you aware of the first and original Oat Store in the Philippines? Perhaps health buffs out there is knowledgeable about this already. It is actually situated along Tomas Morato in Quezon City fronting the Il Terrazzo Mall. Now on its soft opening stage so you better try out this humble place that very well welcomes walk-ins and beneficial to people of all ages. If you are the type who needs a little more dietary fiber on his/her diet, then I assure you that OAT SQUARE will work wonder for you.
You have more reason to smile as one of the business owners is always present to serve you. Glad to have met this young entrepreneur, Ms. Jam Liao, who is also a Thomasian (only that I am a bit older than her). She informed us that store is open daily from 11AM to 11PM every Mondays to Thursdays and Sundays. However, operating hours extend up to 12MN every Fridays to Saturdays to cater late sleepers and  younger crowd who loves bar hopping in the T. Morato area. Ms. Jam was the one who conceptualized the overall look of their very first business venture along with her two siblings Cj and Jaya, which is very much supported by their dear father, Mr.  Jerry Liao.
Some short yet sweet notes from their customers.

So what are these admirable products that OAT SQUARE  proudly share to us? Here they are. . .

There are also Niblets like Oat Niblets sold by 60g (PhP60) or 90g (PhP90)  per pack and boxes of Oat Brownies and Revel Bars (8 pieces/box) -PhP120.  These are perfect for gift-giving especially that Christmas is in the air. Aside from being fresh, affordable and unique, it is one sweet way of telling the recipient how much he/she should value his/her health by giving him food gifts that are healthy and hearty as well.

Walnut Oat Cookies
What do you expect from these pastries? Of course they are sweet, simply done, baked from the heart and most importantly loaded with health benefits that anyone would surely appreciate. I regularly eat oatmeal with or without milk or choco powder. I usually mix it with fresh fruits and my favorites are banana, grapes and strawberry. No matter how bland oats are if you just know how to cook properly, mix and match, everything else will follow. It is common knowledge that a bowl of cooked oats a day is one of the best foods for the heart as they are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and also in potassium and folate.

Strawberry and Cookies & Cream Premium Oat Drinks  PhP80 (16oz)
Oat Square is not just limited to selling baked goodies but also Classic, Fruity and Premium drinks infused with oats. Seems like there is such an awesome way to heal or improve our heart's health that is not just cooked from the oven. As milk teas are ubiquitous nowadays, it is pretty impressive that three young siblings were able to come up with such an unparalleled idea or concept for a food stall that could cater everybody.

As a way of saying 'Thank You' to its loyal guests, Oat Square came up with this loyalty card that allows the holder to get  free one 12oz. drink from any classic or fruity oat drinks. In order to avail the said promo, one has to buy 20 cold drinks first and a combination of two O'Cards is allowed.

What greatly piqued my curiosity was this Oatz Caldo. Take note that the above photo is not the actual serving size. A cup would cost you PhP60 and I must tell that it was so flavorful and much like the regular arroz caldo that warms our tummy on a cold day; only that this one had different mouth feel or texture and such a pleasant way to enjoy snack any time of the day. This I highly suggest. Other choices for snacks that I will try next time are Muesli, Oatmeal and Fresh Lumpia.

Choco Banana PhP45
Having just the right amount of sweetness, I super duper love this pop! Banana and choco always complement each other. You can never ever go wrong with this combination most especially now that it is concocted the healthy way.

Other variants are (from left to right): Capuccino, Ube, Cookies and Cream, Avocado and Strawberry. Now hop on for these Healthy Oat Pops (HOPS). Guaranteed to make your day! Not just for kids but also for the kid at heart or for those who simply want a cold and healthy fix.

Oat Square accepts bulk orders and requests for special occasions or giveaways. It will soon branch out and has been receiving great raves since they initially opened their doors. Some local artists and television personalities have been frequenting their store and truly enjoy the concept and good offerings. The only downside I encountered was the limited dining or seating capacity. First timers should expect al fresco set up for they do not have tables and chairs inside. So you either stand while eating or take home your goodies.
