Mabuhay Temple to Host ONE DAY ON EARTH Screening

ONE DAY ON EARTH, the first film to include footage from every country on earth all captured in one day, will be shown for free at Mabuhay Temple on 11 June 2012 at 7:30 pm.

The International Buddhist Progress Society, Manila (IBPS) will host a free public screening of One Day on Earth at the Five Contemplations Hall of the Mabuhay Temple on 11 June 2012 at 7:30 pm. Mabuhay Temple is located at 656 Pablo Ocampo St., Malate, Manila. 

One Day on Earth is a full-length documentary feature that holds the distinction of being the first film ever to include footage from every country on earth, all captured on a single day - 10 October 2010. The film provides a unique look into a wide array of human activities and even offers intimate access to rarely seen images from countries such as North Korea, Iran and Kosovo.

Just before my closest travel and food buddy headed to Bicol region for a very important family matter, we sat and talked for a while at a familiar veranda coffee shop in Ortigas area. May 27, Sunday at Mall of Asia Grounds,  Carl and I excitedly made a dash for a 5 kilometer long race which started at exactly 5:55AM. I somehow challenged my co-blogger turned running mate to make our group proud by being one of the runners who can make it to the finish line. It was evident of him that he has this 'can do attitude' and with the given physique, I bet it will never be impossible should he really surpass all the challenges along the way. I allowed him to sprint at his own pace and expectedly I am not as advanced as him. I just enjoyed the cool air, the healthy lifestyle I am currently involved with, and the happy faces around me running with all their might. How I wished I have the stamina and agility as theirs to be able to bring home the bacon too. 

CAFE PUBLICO: Gelato. Snacks. People

Check this out. One of the latest dining hub at Promenade Mall in Greenhills situated on the second floor of the building is this white and light green-filled facade which exudes with  light feeling and  sense of belongingness that magnets every passersby and mall-goers. If you are an ice cream addict or a gelato fanatic at that or one who is simply on a constant lookout for the next best place to kill time, then take my word for it.. . Chill and play at Cafe Publico!

This cafe is a brainchild of a man who is well-traveled and has an undeniably good taste of a unique gelataria which he can call his own masterpiece. In that case, something that is absolutely perfect for anyone who loves snacks, gelatos, affogatos, pastries, liquors and last but not the least, people. Here are just some of the rustic things that inspired me to walk through and through and study every bit of knickknacks that made the place more interesting. May I just invite you to step through with me on this place adorned with pretty things and littered with so much activity to be engrossed with?
