I was able to attend the simple press conference of the much-awaited movie The Mommy Returns: Till Death We'll Not Part last April 28 held at the Imperial Palace Suites in Quezon City. The only film star there was Pokwang who is known to be a 'seryosong ina sa likod ng nakakatawang mukha'. It was a brief presscon with her along with some of the showbiz writers and entertainment reporters. I even noticed that Mario Dumaual was there, one of the respected entertainment reporters of ABS-CBN and Ricky Lo as well.
Different facial reaction of Pokwang as the entertainment press asks her all sorts of questions regarding her current relationship status with her daughter, the reason why she's having a solo press con that afternoon, who is a better leading lady for Gabby Concepcion etcetera. All of which she answered gracefully with additional humor to keep all things lightly.
During the press conference all present inside the room had a yummy sample of two scoops of Nestle Sorbetes variant, which is being very-well endorsed by the comedienne. Everybody had a fair share to somehow avoid the sweltering heat of summer.
